Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RedirX at redirx.dev, app.redirx.dev, or through our agent tools (the "Service"), operated by Dylon Shattuck trading as RedirX, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RedirX.

2. Description of Service

RedirX helps your agent map old URLs to new destinations and export reviewed redirect rules. The URL-first workflow uses URL paths and confirmed examples to propose matches. Proposed mappings require review; an export does not install or verify redirects on your website.

The Service is currently in public beta. Features, functionality, and availability may change without prior notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If acting for a business or client, you must have authority to do so and to provide its data. Protect connected-agent credentials and revoke access you no longer need. Accounts are non-transferable.

4. Trial, usage and migration limits

One free trial per account covers your first migration of up to 500 old URLs and 2,000 new URLs, with no card required. It is not a recurring monthly allowance. For paid migrations, all old URLs count; trial URLs are not deducted from a paid quote.

Each paid migration supports up to 15,000 old URLs and 20,000 new URLs. It includes initial suggestions and two further matching attempts within 30 days, including after subscription renewal or cancellation. Editing and downloading do not consume attempts. Each one-time purchase covers a fixed pair of old and new URL inventories; changing the inventories requires a new purchase. Larger migrations require a separate agreement.

5. Payment Terms

Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, before applicable tax. Pay-as-you-go usage costs $0.02 per old URL, rounded up to the next whole dollar for each purchase, with a $10 minimum. New destination URLs cost nothing extra. Your checkout shows the amount before payment.

Studio costs $79 per month for 5,000 old URLs; Agency costs $199 per month for 15,000 old URLs. Monthly allowances are pooled across your migrations and unused URLs do not carry over. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Extra usage requires your approval before it runs and costs $0.02 per additional old URL, totaled and rounded up once per month, without a minimum.

Cancel through the billing portal linked from your billing page before renewal, or contact us if you cannot access it. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; already approved usage charges remain payable. We do not ordinarily provide prorated refunds for unused subscription time, except where required by law. Contact Dylon@RedirX.dev about billing errors or refund requests. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer cancellation, refund or other rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable laws
• Upload or process malicious, harmful, or deceptive content
• Scrape websites you are not authorized to access
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits or circumvent restrictions
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or other service restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

7. User Content & Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including URL lists and any associated content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent that you have authorization to supply the URL inventories and redirect examples you provide. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated redirect mappings before deploying them to your website. Your authorization of an agent does not remove your responsibility for decisions and purchases it makes within the permissions you grant. Do not include credentials or unnecessary personal data in URL inventories. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and third-party processing.

8. Intellectual Property

The RedirX name, logo, branding, and software are the proprietary property of RedirX and its operator. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. The Service is currently in public beta and may contain bugs or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any redirect matches. Confidence scores provided by the Service are estimates and should not be relied upon as definitive measures of match quality. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDIRX AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF SEO RANKINGS, ORGANIC TRAFFIC, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

RedirX is not liable for any SEO loss, broken redirects, or incorrect matches resulting from the use of generated redirect mappings. Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to RedirX in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. These exclusions and limits apply only to the extent permitted by law; they do not exclude liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnification

If you use the Service for business purposes, and to the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RedirX and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your unlawful use of the Service or your infringement of third-party rights. This does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct.

12. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. As the Service is in public beta, features and functionality may change significantly. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes. Changes to paid pricing or these Terms will be communicated before they apply where required by law. Revised terms do not retroactively change completed purchases or remove mandatory rights.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Your data in the application, or by contacting us. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately, without a partial refund for the current period, and permanently removes your account data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the courts located in the State of Georgia, except where applicable consumer law gives you mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RedirX regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
